Walkingstick Residence

From my construction documentation class, the Walkingstick Residence was designed as a generational second home for the Venhuizen family, with flexibility for rental use and a private-entry office for remote work. The exterior draws from Adirondack Craftsman style through varied rooflines, natural materials, and overhanging eaves, while the interior blends high-end contemporary aesthetics with Craftsman influence. Locally sourced materials were used where possible, and an accessible kitchen supports aging in place.
